Born in South Korea and raised in Ithaca, NY, Annie Eller graduated from Boston University with a B.F.A. in Painting and a concentration in Art History in 2008.  Her work has been greatly influenced from her semester abroad studying in Venice, Italy in Spring 2007.  Post-graduation, she interned at the Copley Society of art, learning the inner workings of a prominent art gallery in Boston, MA, and spent three years at Boston University’s archive, the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, working on exhibitions and the Collection of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The natural world, being the artist's chief source of inspiration, lays the foundation for her most recent series titled "Stillness and Flight."   The body of work explores the beauty of trees through intricate pen and ink drawings and includes works on canvas that bridge the gap between painting and sculptural relief.
